SECTIONALITY -- Segmented code for the Commander X16: slithy VLOGS #4

If you want to have more than 37.75 kB of code in your Commander X16 program, you are going to need to have a segmented program, with code (not just data!) getting loaded into "golden" RAM below $0800 or into one of the RAM banks up at $A000. Then you can jump around between the segments as needed, and this video will show you how to set it all up with cc65 and some custom configuration and build scripts.
