Famous among locals and visitors the "Sankat Mochan Sangeet Samaroh" is a yearly music celebration composed in Varanasi in lieu of Hanuman Jayanti. It takes puts on the eve of Hanuman Jayanti, which is portrayed by the lunar timetable. This Meera Bhajan is performed at the Concert that Vid. Sangeeta Katti performed.

This yearly celebration holds a unique place in the hearts of the crowds who visit it every year and appreciate the peaceful music that touches their hearts and souls. This 6-day long celebration is a tribute and a 'haazari' to Lord Hanuman and the artists feel respected to be a piece of this magnificent felicitation.
