1.Take the printer out of the carton.
2.Remove all the packing and safety material from the inside and outside of the printer.
3.Fix the control panel on the printer. Ensure that all the buttons on the panel are visible.
4.Fix the input tray at the bottom of the printer and load some plain sheets.
5.Align the output tray over the input tray and fix the paper tray extender on it.
6.Connect the printer to a nearby power outlet using the supplied power cord.
7.Press the ON button on the control panel and set your preferences on the display screen.
8.Lower the side access door. Do not touch the carriage while it is moving.
9.Unpack the new cartridges and insert them into their slots.
10.Perform cartridge alignment. The hardware setup is now complete.
