Honda Prelude Replaced ECU Now Car Wont Start [How To Fix] Immobiliser

In this video, I show you how to avoid having to get your ECU or key Immobiliser reprogrammed, don't even try and put another ECU in and start the car first though as apparently this will then require you to do some kind of procedure to do with the starter motor to unlock it, but that could be BS as most of the info is on the Honda Prelude and other Honda forums.

When I tested this out in the car I mentioned the new ECU was for a manual, but I couldn't see any difference, well just taking a closer look and there is one tiny difference between manual ECU and auto, its one tiny SMD resistor, on the manual its placed in position RP14 but on the auto ECU its placed in position RP13 it's the same resistor so you can easily swap it from one position to the other to make manual or auto gearbox ECU, I will make another video to see if you can reprogram the normal ECU to add turbo and stuff as apparently you can't, and you have to spend hundreds on a special p28 ECU, but as iv got a spare ECU now to experiment on then I will socket what I think are the map chips and see if I can read and program them, will save you all a fortune if it can be done, make sure you subscribe if you want to see that.
