Here’s a full body workout I put NFL kicker Younghoe Koo through this week which involved a combination of resistance band exercises as well as emphasis on lats, core, posture, and rotational power.
The 8 Drills.
Band Resisted RNT Barbell RDL. RNT stands for Reactive Neuromuscular Training where the band pulls the athlete into dysfunction where he or she must resist. In this case it cues the athlete to fire their lats & keep the bar pulled against their body which reinforces more glute activation & better hip hinge mechanics.
