Fire-Lite ES-50X - Trick a Fire Alarm Panel - Heat Detector Type Issue

This video shows how you can trick a Fire-Lite ES series panel into believing it has regular heat detectors when it actually has high temperature heat detectors. This is an unlikely scenario but one of our techs confirmed they had done this for perfectly valid reasons. None of us would have ever imagined it would cause a failure like this. I run through two tests and the problem is uncovered in the second test. This panel believes that it has five H365 detectors connected but it really has five H365HT detectors connected.
