This Planet May Rain Titanium 😳🪐 | LTT9779b

A planet that may rain titanium sounds impossible —
yet astronomers have discovered one.

Meet LTT9779b, the most reflective exoplanet ever observed. This ultra-hot Neptune reflects more starlight than Venus or Earth, behaving like a cosmic mirror in deep space.

Located 264 light-years away, LTT9779b completes an orbit in just 19 hours, enduring extreme temperatures. Scientists believe its intense reflectivity comes from metal-rich clouds, where elements like titanium may condense and fall as metallic rain.

Discovered by NASA’s TESS mission and later studied in detail by ESA’s CHEOPS, this planet challenges existing theories about how planetary atmospheres behave under extreme heat.

Watch again — the details matter. 👁️
