Ukrainian forces fire self propelled howitzers in Kharkiv region

Ukrainian soldiers fired self-propelled howitzers at Russian targets in Kharkiv region on Saturday (May 7).

Video shot by Reuters showed howitzers pounding targets as smoke rose from the area.

Earlier on Saturday, Russian forces shelled settlements in the northeast, near Ukraine's second largest city Kharkiv. The attacks blew up three road bridges to slow counter-offensive actions by the Ukrainian forces, Ukraine's general staff said.
