Asus RT-AC86U Wireless Router Unboxing & Merlin Firmware Overview

Having need for a new wireless router I decided, after much deliberation, to purchase the Asus RT-AC86U.

In this video I will perform the unboxing and then show how easy it is to install AsusWRT-Merlin firmware. I'll also take you through a quick overview of the Router gui discussing some of its features.

AsusWRT Merlin (https://asuswrt.lostrealm.ca/) is an alternative firmware available primarily for some Asus routers. It is based directly on official Asus router firmware releases and includes fixes and a small number of enhancement over the stock firmware.
