Laura Sobiech and Justin Baldoni met during the most difficult of circumstances, her son, Zach, was dying from osteosarcoma. They quickly connected over a shared belief that by making room for grace, the unexpected can happen. Laura’s mantra, “open the door and I will follow,” has led her to become a tremendous advocate for research into rare disease and a guide for other families facing the serious illness or loss of a child.

Take 10 is an experience focused on finding solace, building solidarity and sharing solutions when it comes to serious illness, caregiving and end of life. Justin Baldoni is an actor, director, producer, speaker and entrepreneur focused on being of service through his work creating impactful media and entertainment. Creator and director of the award-winning documentary series, My Last Days, Justin made his feature film directorial debut with Five Feet Apart. His latest film, Clouds, premiered on October 16, 2020.

Laura Sobiech is the author of Clouds: A Memoir, a book that chronicles the final year of her son Zach’s life before he died of osteosarcoma in 2013. Her book has been adapted to the big screen in Clouds, an original movie streaming on Disney+ this fall. Laura serves as a community outreach coordinator at Children's Cancer Research Fund and is passionate about bringing funding and attention to solve rare diseases.
