Walking Tour of Calle Madero in Mexico City
In this Mexico City travel guide, we will go for a walk down the main pedestrian street called, Calle Madero. We will start at the palace of Bellas Artes, walk past the Torre Latinoamerica Tower, and continue walking all the way to the main plaza located in the central historic district of México City.
During our walking tour we'll look at some of the shops, hear about the history of the Casa de los Azulejos (House of Tile), see street performers, locate some restaurants that will be familiar to us, see evidence of how the city is sinking, and hear some live music from a band playing in the plaza.
If traveling to Mexico City for the first time, this informational video will come in handy to introduce you to what you can see all along the entire length of Calle Madero.
