Hawaii water polo advances in NCAA Tournament

The No. 2 University of Hawaii water polo team advanced to the national semifinals of the NCAA Tournament with an 11-6 win over Princeton on Friday in Berkeley, Calif.

Hawaii improves to 23-3, while Princeton’s season ends at 23-7.

Princeton scored first on Friday, but Hawaii eventually overpowered the Tigers, led by Jordan Wedderburn’s match-high three goals.
