Calories: Approx. 175/ Serving
Recipe
2 Tsp Sunflower Oil
A pinch of finely chopped ginger
A pinch of Ajwain
A pinch of Jeera
1 Finely chopped Onion
1 Bowl of chopped Carrots and Peas
1 Bowl of Leftover Rice
1/2 Tsp Haldi
1/2 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 Tsp Dhaniya Jeera Powder
A Pinch of Salt
Coriander Leaves for garnishing
Lemon
Method:
In a heating pan, add 2 Tsp Sunflower Oil, A pinch of finely chopped ginger, A pinch of Ajwain, A pinch of Jeera, 1 Finely chopped Onion. Stir Fry the ingredients till the onion turns pink. You can add different vegetables or chicken and eggs to give it another interesting variation. Add 1 Bowl of chopped Carrots and Peas. Make sure that the vegetables are finely chopped as they give a crispy texture to the rice. Then add 1 Bowl of Leftover Rice and mix well. Then add 1/2 Tsp Haldi, 1/2 Tsp Red Chilli Powder, and 1 Tsp Dhaniya Jeera Powder. Then add a pinch of salt and mix well. Close the lid and let the rice cook for 5 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves and juice of half a lemon. Leftover Rice Pulao ready to be served!
