My uniform cost

A lot of money gets dumped into this stuff, probably a lot more than I quote in the vid.
The trouble is that to get this stuff the way you want it costs money and there's no way around that.
You can try and do things cheaper by making it yourself but the materials and the time it takes usually cost as much as buying a reproduction anyway, not to mention the time and study it cost to LEARN to make the things! In some cases buying original items is actually cheaper.
The advantage of making things yourself is that you get them JUST right, which costs quite a but more if you pay to have it made. You also learn some interesting techniques and get some fascinating historical insight.
