Ten-Tec Orion II Panadapter

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING ERRATA:

This was all checked and still works on a fresh Windows 11 based install. It's always a good idea to reboot a computer after installing drivers to make sure there are no errors and then check they are still recognised in the Device Manager.

-- 10:00 minutes into the video, we are dealing with the Noble Radio USB interface FIRST in Zadig, which is the "Bulk-In Interface". I secondly then deal with the old Prolific serial to USB adaptor. (I have to select "List All Devices" in Zadig to see the Prolific device because Windows has already tried to load something out of the ordinary. But the Device Manager will flag the Prolific initially as old and not supported.)

-- At 32:50, the video assumes you've hit "Start" on HDSDR to calibrate the Signal Strength meter. Sorry about this omission.

VK2HEY attempts to set a new standard in just how long and drawn out an explanatory video can be. Seriously though, who wouldn't want a panadapter for an Orion II? The VE7TK mod needs to be already installed before attempting this configuration of the Noble Radio NR-PAN3K panadapter, HDSDR with Ham Radio Deluxe as a middle-man.
