Lambert and Stanley are finally home. ❤️ 🐑

After an extended stay at NC State Veterinary Hospital, these two special sheep are settling back in and beginning to heal—physically and emotionally—after lifesaving treatment and corrective surgery.

Since arriving at CWR, Lambert has touched the heart of everyone who meets him—and since Stanley’s birth, the two have been inseparable. Kindred spirits through and through. The veterinary team at NC State fell in love with them too—staff members made it a point to visit them every day, even when the sheep weren’t officially their patients. They received daily leash walks, extra attention, and endless affection from their caregivers.

The care they received was exceptional—but it also came with significant costs. We want to ensure the wonderful team at NC State is fully compensated for their expertise and compassion.

Some of you may recall there was controversy surrounding the complications that led to this need for care. We aren’t sharing this to revisit that—those matters are being handled, and as you know, these things take time. For now, our focus is on gratitude, healing, and giving back to those who helped save Lambert and Stanley’s lives.
