DP/30: The Danish Girl, Alicia Vikander

She appeared on the North American scene at TIFF with Anna Karenina and A Royal Affair. In the 3 years since then, she has made 10 films. including powerful work in Testament of Youth, Ex Machina and now, The Danish Girl. She spoke to David Poland about the work, the freedom to work, and the power of directors to make her offers she can't refuse.
