Coronavirus sceptics are gathering around the Bundestag in Berlin on Wednesday, November 18, as MPs debate changes on the Protection against Infection Act to ensure that measures to combat the spread of COVID-19 are written into law. Counter-protests are also expected to take place.
The draft law provides a new paragraph entitled ‘Special protective measures to combat the Sars-Cov-2 coronavirus’ with specifics on contact restrictions in private and public spaces, obligation to wear a mouth and nose cover, travel restrictions and business or commercial bans.
