The NK Cattle Company and a couple of neighbors run their cows through the chutes for pregnancy exams. If the cow is pregnant an estimate is made how far she is along in the pregnancy to aid in planning for the calving season after the first of November 2019. #RanchLife #WorkingRanch #AmericanHeartlands

Note the veterinarian is using a portable sonar instrument strapped to his back and he is able to see the image of the fetus in real-time through the lens of special eyeglasses.
