John Coltrane's Discovery of a Music of the Spheres (original)
AN IMPROVED VERSION OF THIS VIDEO IS AT https://youtu.be/yYoMHlaV9Aw
THERE IS A BACKGROUND HUM IN THIS VIDEO THAT HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE IMPROVED VERSION.
Saxophone player John Coltrane made a diagram of 5 octaves of musical notes in an arrangement around a circle that results in 60 points, a 5-pointed star, and the musical Circle of Fifths arranged in twelve 30-degree sections. Coltrane's diagram bears a striking resemblance to a diagram that I present in the video "Fibonacci Numbers as a Basis of the Zodiac" at https://youtu.be/6QQU9lq91ok In this diagram of Fibonacci numbers there are also 60 points, a 5-pointed star, and a division into 12 sections of 30 degrees!
The diagram by Coltrane does not show the Fibonacci numbers that are shown in the diagram in my video, and it appears that for somewhat different reasons he came up with a very similar concept as the one that I present as a basis for the zodiac.
Coltrane's arrangement of musical notes in the same arrangement as the sequence of 60 modulus 10 Fibonacci numbers (also known as one of the Pisano periods) adds a music of the spheres dimension and a direct connection to musical notes and musical harmonies to the concept of the astrological zodiac.
