Upgrade or Downgrade? You Tell Me

New (newer, actually) miter saw to take me into the next decade, hopefully. The old Hitachi was showing it's age, so I figured the time had come to make the change.
Not sponsored! Even though I got this saw in a previous deal to promote this line of tools, that agreement ended. I'm not getting anything from Dewalt for doing this, it's purely a decision based on the quality of the saw and the fact that I have it.
If I were buying a replacement saw, I probably wouldn't buy the battery powered version of this brand, and may not buy this brand at all. I would shop around and get the one that I thought was the best quality / value compromise.
But I will say that my early impressions are that this saw is at least as capable as the Hitachi it is replacing. It has the same functionality and capacity and appears to be as well made.
