Kingsong KS-S18 - The Beast is DEAD

A quick update video on the state of my S18. After a great ride in the forest I thought lets do a top to bottom wash of the wheel as I have not washed it since I got it. I used a normal hose to get most of the dirt off and then used Rhino Goo spray and foamed it up with a brush. This was followed with another hose down. I always spray from the top down so the water runs down.

While I was drying the wheel off the front light flashed on and I thought I must have pressed the power button. But I did not. After the wheel was dried off I pressed the power button and this is where it made that clunk noise. It must have been water that got into the controller board area but I could not see a way. It must have entered or via the trolly handle, the light sensor or the power button flap.

All the information was sent to Speedyfeet and he has made contract with Kingsong to find out what is the next steps.

I will keep you guys posted when I hear anything back. I would like to get my wheel back up and running so I can get out and ride. Now that we have less light as its getting closer to winter I would like to maximise my ride time.

It good to get out and ride. It makes me feel refreshed.
