Git add explained

Understanding of git add

git add moves a file into staging area.

for staging specific file you can give specific file name after git add

for staging everything you need to write . , here for means files that are there in current working directory.

why can't we directly commit ?
* we can get the clean history
* we can distinguish in between good code and bad code.
