R.I.P. FF Robert A Hampton 1948 - 2017

Robert A. Hampton, 68, of Mount Carmel, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 23, 2017. Born in Ashland on Nov. 10, 1948, he was a son of Vivian "Dolly" (Lindenmuth) Hampton, of Aristes, and the late Robert "Preach" Hampton.

He was a member of the Clover Hose Fire Company, American Hose Community Ambulance and State Fire Police, all of Mount Carmel, Aristes Fire Company, 6th County Fireman's Convention Association and was financial secretary of the Clover Hose Fire Company for 45 years.

He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1968 to 1972.
