spring 2021 reading wrap up: queer lit, speculative fiction, mystery novels, and classics

i know i'm late af but here is my seasonal/quarterly wrap up for spring. this time i experimented a bit, and with the help of netgalley, dove a lil bit into sci-fi/speculative fiction, read a mystery novel translated from japanese and threw some classics in there for the flair. i feel like queer lit is a staple of what i read so it's probably going to have its place in everyone of my wrap ups, even when it's not necessarily the main focus. i had fun this spring despite a huge reading slump but this summer has been SUPER prolific can't wait to tell you all about it 💕
