Rees-Mogg brands Sadiq Khan an incompetent mayor, always trying to make life of motorists miserable

Commons Leader Jacob Rees-Mogg erupted in a vicious rant against Sadiq Khan in the House of Commons as he branded the Mayor of London "incompetent".
Leader of the House of Commons, Jacob Rees-Mogg, attacked Sadiq Khan for trying to make motorists "miserable" while the Government is building the largest road-building program in decades.
He said:
"The Mayor of London has always done everything he possibly can to make life miserable for the motorist, and no doubt he wishes to continue to do so. He is no advocate of the motorist. The Conservative Government on the other hand are, with the largest road-building programme in decades and a real commitment to making motoring easier and helping people drive in the way that they wish to do. The fact that Transport for London has run out of money is because it was running out of money before the coronavirus, because it was badly managed by an incompetent Mayor."
It comes as Boris Johnson has claimed TfL was "effectively bankrupted" before coronavirus, and proposals to hike charges are "entirely the responsibility" of the capital's Mayor.
