How to set up and use DeepSeek for Janitor AI (V1, V3, R1)

This video is about how to set up DeepSeek with Janitor AI, so your chats can be much better. Chatting with regular Janitor AI models can be slow, and sometimes, their responses can be "meh". So it's best to pair DeepSeek V1 or V3 with Janitor AI, so you can finally have immersive chats with your bots!

For anyone that's having a hard time following, I'm gonna provide a written description of what you should do!
1. OpenRouter - https://openrouter.ai/
- Create Account
- Settings - API Keys - Create Key
- Save the key and go to Janitor AI

2. Janitor AI - https://janitorai.com/
- Choose your character
- Click the 3 dots on the right side of the screen
- Then click API settings
- Go to the proxy
- Paste your OpenRouter API Key (Step 4)
- Under "Other API/Proxy URL" paste this:
https://openrouter.ai/api/v1/chat/completions
- For models, you can go on OpenRouter, search for various DeepSeek models, but now we're gonna use V3.
- Under model, paste this: deepseek/deepseek-v3-base:free

3. Chutes - https://chutes.ai/
- Create account
- Save API key
- Click API on the left side of the site
- Create an API key
- Go to OpenRouter, click Chuter, and paste the key (and save it somewhere safe)
