Marc states that companies do not necessarily have to be in Silicon Valley, have special training or be the best and brightest in order to lead innovation in their industries. Instead, a company leader needs to possess three simple traits: tolerance of risk, a really good idea and confidence.
Marc Randolph is a veteran Silicon Valley entrepreneur, adviser and investor. Marc is the co-founder of the online movie and television streaming service Netflix. He was their founding CEO, executive producer of the website and member of the board until his retirement in 2004.
