Todd Chrisley Details 'Filthy' Prison Conditions In First Interview From Behind Bars

Todd Chrisley is speaking out from prison. The "Chrisley Knows Best" alum gave his first-ever interview from behind bars on Chris Cuomo's NewsNation show. Reporter Brian Entin relayed questions to the former reality star through Todd's lawyer. In the interview, the 54-year-old shared detailed insight about the conditions inside the prison and fears for his safety. "There are recordings of staff members here talking about, 'He needs to be humbled,'" he claimed. Todd then alleged someone from the prison is trying to blackmail him. "There was a photograph taken of me while I was sleeping and sent to my daughter, asking for $2,600 a month for my protection," he claimed. Todd is serving his reduced 10-year prison sentence in Florida, while his wife Julie is serving a reduced five-year sentence in Kentucky. The "Chrisley Knows Best" stars reported to prison in January 2023 after their fraud convictions the year prior.
