Hitting with the MacDougall PowerWood M21 - Wood Baseball Bat Review

The Bat Bros swing a unique wood bat from MacDougall - the PowerWood M21. These are constructed in a super interesting way where pieces of Tanoak and Hickory are fuzed together. This unique design makes these bats extremely durable and provides a wood bat feel without the fear of creating firewood.

MacDougall PowerWood M21:
-A bit heavier swinging than we were expecting
-Fairly small sweet spot for its swing weight
-Good performance on mishits for a wood bat
-Great loud sound
-Flexes quite a bit - similar to a Birch or Maple bat
-Quite a bit of sting in the hands (not that that should matter much)
-Great pop on a very small part of the sweet spot, but pretty moderate juice on the rest of the barrel from what we noticed.
-Pretty thick handle - similar feel to a 110
-Excellent durability. The only bat we've come across that feels/swings like a real wood bat and has great durability.
