Abandoned House in the Woods

A good friend of mine owns the property adjacent to this, but the trails all connect. We have had permission to ride here for years but I finally took it a step farther to explore beyond the trail leading by. The first time I saw this place was nearly 14 years ago, since then, the first structure we shared, the stable, has completely collapsed. It was standing the first time I came here. The upper floors of the house have also greatly deteriorated, as has the front room, where the tree is growing in through the corner. There used to be more steps into the upper rooms and there were more papers on the walls. Everything else remains as is, as far as I can tell. We believe there is enough parts in the old stable to give evidence to a tractor left to rot, and in previous years I had found an old leather Halter for a horse in the Stable. The shoes are a mystery and I find it highly unsettling. The style is of the 1950's, and we found sizes for men, women and children alike, all within the same pile. Possible it was box under the eave of the Barn and the box has rotted away.
