Bret and Heather 56th DarkHorse Podcast Livestream: Your Algorithm's No Good Here

In this 56th in a series of live discussions with Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying (both PhDs in Biology), we discuss the state of the world though an evolutionary lens. In this episode, we discuss politics and protest, authoritarianism and dissidence. What themes tie together the one-sided blindness of many New York Times op-eds, on-going vandalism on the streets of Portland, objections to the publication of Jordan Peterson’s new book, and the latest faculty statement from the University of Chicago’s English Department? To answer that question, we read from Milan Kundera’s The Book of Laughter and Forgetting. Also, are we being censored or controlled, and how would we know? We look to the wisdom of Christopher Hitchens for some answers. Finally: get outside and exercise with some risk, to avoid no-stakes exercise in which you have no (or little) skin in the game.
