iPhone 7 / 7 Plus No Service problem can be many reasons.
The most common cause is the motherboard's Baseband circuit failed.
But NOT every baseband problem is the same part fault.
Baseband is related to many parts, so there are multiple ways to troubleshoot which one is causing the problem.

Some genius goes to reball the Baseband CPU without a proper diagnosis and then causing more problems than it had.
Send it to the wrong shop will kill it. The customer iPhone became an experiment white rat.

First-hand repair is important. The more mess they have done on it, the more complicated my job would be.
Technical View:
Most of the academy teaches you the diagram map flow. But they don't usually teach you the procedures of diagnosis.
"What's the point of having a map but you don't know how to take the direction?"

In my school, I don't only teach the diagram map of how the sequence flow, I enforced all my students to have a "Standard of Procedure" for the different circumstance.
