Hildur Gudnadottir's music on Joker is beautiful, haunting and intense. She wrote the music of the movie before it went into production based on the screenplay. Todd Philips wanted the score to affect and infect the set in a way that everyone in the room should feel the music - the cinematographer, set-dressers, wardrobe assistants etc. The score captures the thriller tone of the movie whick worked perfectly with the same kind of performance from Joaquin Phoenix. This is a soundtrack mix of the Original Score which was released by WaterTower Music.
