Sacramento hit-and-run crash leaves woman dead, police say
A woman died Tuesday night in a hit-and-run crash in the South Land Park area, the Sacramento Police Department said. The crash was reported just before 6 p.m. along Freeport Boulevard near Potrero Way, police said. Officers who got there found a woman and had her transported to a hospital where she later died.
