On the first day of the university placement exams, a panicked mother rushed into a police station in Zhongli, Taoyuan. She was taking her son to school when her scooter got a flat tire. With only minutes to spare before the start of the exam, she rushed into the station asking to borrow a scooter. An officer sprang into action, taking just four minutes to drive the student to his school just in time for the exam.

A mother bursts into this police station in a panic, asking for help. Turns out she wanted to borrow a scooter.

Just before then, the back wheel on her own scooter blew out. Seeing that time was short, she went to the police station for help. The officers took a moment to assess the situation, but then without another word brought out their keys and drove the mother and son to the testing location.

When we heard what happened, we took the student to the testing location right away. Since it was rush hour, we turned on the siren to make sure he got there in time.

It was the first day of the university placement exams. The first test was set to start at 8:35am, the same time that people are going to work in the morning. Panicked that her son would miss this crucial exam, she turned to the police for help.

We arrange to have officers near the examination site to ensure public order and safety.

It’s lucky that the officer extended a helping hand. A ride that usually takes 10 minutes took only four, ensuring that the student made it there safely and in time for his big exam.
