Black water when Boondocking

UGH!! The dreaded poop water!! As an RV newbie, my biggest challenge since moving into my RV has been managing my water systems. THANK YOU for all of you who have shared your sh*tty stories as well. It has made me laugh and feel much better about my challenges and poop explosions. I wish I could say that this was a leak proof adventure today but sadly - I failed at it twice.
#1 - I did not shut both of my grey water tanks.
#2 - The rubber gasket fell off and the black water leaked on the ground, my feet and my hands (THANK GOD I HAD GLOVES ON!!)
- Living on this acreage I have access to water and power but have had to figure out my own sewer. I am 400feet from the septic field for the farm house so running a hose is out of the question. Part of this RV life is figuring things out - learning as I go. This is just one way that I can deal with my black water.

Today I empty my sewage into a portable waste management container. I still don't know what the 'official' name of it is. I also call it my poop wagon - for some reason this just sounds a bit prettier? I haul the container up a ramp into the new 2019 Ford Ranger and drive about 20 minutes out of town to a rest stop that has a sani-dump station. It takes me 6 hours and I don't know that this is the best solution for my waste management; but it is one option that works fine. Next time I will have to try something else.

This is all about learning and trying new things. Right?
