This is what Day 1 of learning cinematic documentary editing in After Effects looks like — and honestly? I'm kind of hooked.

Visually, I wanted the documentary to feel like something between a Netflix doc and an indie short film. Muted tones, intentional typography, controlled pacing. In After Effects, that means learning how to build atmosphere — not just slap effects on a timeline.
Day 1 taught me how much I don't know — and I loved every second of it.
