Core - Chest - Triceps - Shoulders - Back - Here are my 8 go-to upper-body moves for functional strength, lean muscles, and a chiseled Greek God V-tape.

1️⃣ DIPS TO PIKES
2️⃣ SPLIT STANCE SINGLE KB ROWS
3️⃣ KNEELING LUNGE DB PRESS
4️⃣ SUPINATED GRIP KB ROWS
5️⃣ FLOOR ALTERNATED CHEST PRESS
6️⃣ BICEP CURLS
7️⃣ REAR DELTS BANDED V-RAISES
8️⃣ BANDED LATERAL RAISES

Aim for 4 sets each 4/4 for unilateral exercises as well
I usually split these moves in pull and push days after my lower body exercises.

✅️Enhances Mobility and Stability: Free weights and bodyweight exercises require balance and stabilization, strengthening core and smaller stabilizing muscles, which machines typically don't challenge.

✅️Mimics Real-World Movements: Functional exercises replicate natural movement patterns (e.g., lifting, pulling, pushing), improving practical strength and reducing injury risk in daily activities, while machines often use unnatural, fixed paths.

✅️Offers Versatility and Scalability: Kettlebells, dumbbells, and bodyweight exercises allow for endless variations and progressions, adaptable to any fitness level, whereas machines are limited by their design.

✅️Requires Minimal Equipment: These methods are space-efficient and cost-effective, enabling workouts anywhere, unlike bulky, expensive machines.

✅️I believe machines can still be useful for beginners or specific goals (e.g., rehab), but functional training better builds practical, whole-body strength and resilience especially for athletes.
