Mercedes W140 - Rear Trim Restoration Project

Hello W140 fans,

Today, I am sharing with you a great little weekend project to revamp the rear end of your moldy Mercedes!
As far as I am aware, these pieces of trim were only used between 1991-1999 on most if not all S-Class models!
The vehicle shown in this project is a 1992 300SD W140 wheelbase, and the trim style seen here is common between 1991-1995.
In the mid 90's, Mercedes changed the layout of the trim to a tree piece arrangement, but I imagine the basic process can be applied to all of the S-Classes!

This project really breaths new life into the back end of your Mercedes, and is a fun and easy way to start learning about the nuances of these cars!

**I FORGOT TO MENTION IN THE VIDEO, BUT I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU DRILL 2-3 SMALL HOLES IN THE BOTTOM OF THE TRIM ONCE THE REPAIR HAS BEEN MADE IN ORDER TO ALLOW WATER TO FLOW OUT !!**
