जबलपुर, मध्य प्रदेश के खमरिया ऑर्डनेंस फैक्ट्री (OFK) में अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों की सभी छुट्टियां तत्काल प्रभाव से रद्द कर दी गई हैं। यह निर्णय भारत-पाकिस्तान के बीच बढ़ते तनाव और पहलगाम आतंकी हमले के बाद लिया गया। म्युनिशन्स इंडिया लिमिटेड मुख्यालय की बैठक में सभी कर्मचारियों को तुरंत ड्यूटी पर लौटने का आदेश दिया गया। सूत्रों के अनुसार, चंद्रपुर, महाराष्ट्र के चंदा ऑर्डनेंस फैक्ट्री में भी इसी तरह का छुट्टी रद्द करने का आदेश जारी हो सकता है, हालांकि इसकी आधिकारिक पुष्टि अभी बाकी है। ये कदम रक्षा इकाइयों में बढ़ी हुई सुरक्षा और परिचालन तत्परता को दर्शाते हैं।

All leaves for officers and employees at the Ordnance Factory Khamaria (OFK) in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, have been canceled with immediate effect due to heightened tensions between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam terror attack. The decision was made during a meeting at the Munitions India Limited headquarters, requiring all staff to return to duty immediately. Sources suggest a similar leave cancellation order may have been issued at the Chanda Ordnance Factory in Chandrapur, Maharashtra, though official confirmation is pending. These measures reflect increased security and operational readiness at these defense facilities.

Tensions between India and Pakistan are at their peak after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April 2025. 26 people were killed in this attack, and India linked it to Pakistan-sponsored terrorism, in response to which several tough steps were taken, such as suspending the Indus Water Treaty and closing the Attari-Wagah border. Amid this tension, Iran has offered mediation, and under this, news has come out about a possible visit of Iran's Foreign Minister Syed Abbas Araghchi to India. According to sources, Araghchi may reach New Delhi on 8 May 2025, although no official announcement has been made yet. Araghchi's main objective is to discuss the India-Pakistan tension arising after the Pahalgam attack with India's Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar. Iran has offered mediation between the two countries, and the visit will focus on diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions.
