Diwali is a Hindu celebration in India.
Also known as the "Festival of Lights," it is celebrated for five days in October and November, which falls on the New Year of the Hindu calendar.
During Diwali, people clean and renovate their homes and workplaces for the festival and decorate them with Rangoli and Diyas.
Rangoli is made of colored rice, flour, sand, or flower petals, and beautiful patterns are painted on the ground to decorate the entrance floor.
Colorful and beautiful rangoli are believed to bring good luck.
Diyas are oil lamps used to light the inside of the house during Diwali, symbolizing prosperity and optimism.
Mithai is the most famous Diwali pastry.
