My name is David and in this video I've told how to get rid of support code 5B00 for canon pixma G2000 printer. But it can be used for any other inkjet printers also.
This is the manual process so you have to do it all yourself. It works for sure if you will follow all the instructions carefully.

Almost all printer can be fixed by this process, but in some cases you can still get error after completing all the steps also. Its because your printer's brain think's it is still bricked and you need to reset it.
For them who still get 7 times blinking error after this process needs to download WIC reset key, link here:- windows- http://www.2manuals.com/WIC/wicreset.exe
mac- http://www.2manuals.com/WIC/iWIC/iWIC.dmg

Once downloaded install it and connect your computer with your printer in service mode, and once refresh printer list if you don't see your printer's name.
If your printer is listed there just click once on EPROM check button, after the process is done click on clear waste ink counter and let it finish. Once done restart your printer and you are good to go.
