Kristin Scott Benson: 2020 S.C. Arts Awards

Mini-documentary of KRISTIN SCOTT BENSON, artist recipient of the 2020 Jean Laney Harris Folk Heritage Award for bluegrass banjo. Folk Heritage Award recipients have demonstrated excellence in a particular folk art form, maintained a high level of artistic commitment, and enriched the lives of people across the state through their unique talents and dedication. Recipients play a significant role in maintaining and enriching South Carolina’s diverse cultural heritage. The Folk Heritage Award is presented annually by the South Carolina General Assembly as part of the S.C. Arts Awards and is jointly administered by the S.C. Arts Commission and the University of South Carolina’s McKissick Museum.
