Ep # 1 - SAILING THROUGH EUROPE ON RIVERS AND CANALS - THE START UP THE RHONE

The start ! A 2600 kilometer and 7 week long journey from Port St Louis in southern France to Kristiansand in Norway. Through beautiful, lock-filled rivers and canals, entering Germany/Luxemburg at Apach and exiting at Lubeck/Travemunde. The final ocean-crossing over to Norway being the last milestone. The actual inland crossing took 23 days on the move. 8 years ago we used 27. This time strikes and water pushed us to the limit. It is a unique way to travel on a small boat straight trough the European territory. It is inexpensive
and gives excess to historical places as well as wonderful and peaceful towns and villages. Problems with border-crossings is non-existing (Schengen regulations).
