How to fell a tree - Forward lean! #howto #chainsaw

This video is a quick demonstration of a technique I know and use for Felling forward-leaning tree's

Leaning trees need to be felled differently from upright trees due to the increased pressure on the wood fiber and grain, certain species of trees are a lot more prone to splitting such as Ash and Aspen so a greater deal of caution needs to be taken when working with them.

This technique demonstrates a tried and tested method to fell forward leaning trees whilst maintaining control and minimizing the risk.
