Well, the British weather has been wild lately! One moment it's freezing, the next we're dealing with extreme weather and heat waves. My poor plants, and I, are trying to keep up with the constant climate change.

When we first started this journey, I thought I had a very clear idea of what “the good life” was supposed to look like.

In this video, I wanted to talk honestly about where we are right now, what we’re learning from this little ex-council house garden, and why I think building a good life might actually have far less to do with perfection… and far more to do with creating systems, routines, comfort, resilience, and joy in the space you already have.

This isn’t a polished homestead.
It’s a normal UK home.
A normal garden.
A normal life.

And honestly? I think that’s exactly why it matters.
