I could make the argument that driver is the most important club in the bag. If you are hitting the driver well and finding fairways consistently, golf gets significantly easier. If you struggle with driver and/or 3W and spray it all over the place, you’re going to find it incredibly difficult to score. Even if you are relying on hybrids or long irons to keep it in play, you’re going to be hitting longer clubs in than you should have to which comes with an increased dispersion.
