Ankle fusion operations remove the movement at the ankle between the talus & the tibia. Whilst some of this movement is compensated by the midfoot, many patients wonder if they can still perform activities as normal. One of the common questions that is asked is whether patients with an ankle fusion can still drive and can they hit the brake pedal just the same as before?
