Made From Coins Jewelry-Making Process!

Jewelry designer Jessie Driscoll makes a reversible flower pendant out of an American half dollar coin. She and her husband Dan recycle old American coins into wearable, reversible jewelry. Akin to modern soldier art, or "trench art," one side is sanded off of each coin and it is turned into something completely different, while the coin is left intact on the other side. They also have a well-loved line of pieces with the coin visible on both sides. They travel the country, selling their wares and feel very fortunate to be able to support their family with this art.

The piece in this video is our Sunflower Half Pendant. Our line passed through Congress approval and is carried in the US Mint Gift Shops in Denver and Philadelphia. This video was made to show our customers the work that goes into jewelry purchased from us, not to teach others to copy us. Process and all designs are protected by documented copyright, 1998-present.
